Our Topic: Illegal Immigration from Mexico to America

1. What is the organization?
The organization is called National Illegal Immigration Boycott Coalition (NIIBC)
2. What exactly are they doing to try and combat or change your issue?
What they want to do is to stop the illegal immigrants. The organization ALIPAC is trying to increase public awareness to public of illegal immigration, the immigrants and the affects when they come to the USA. They are also trying to raise awareness of companies that are trying to let in the illegal immigrants in to USA to get money.
3. What are some of the things you like about their program?
Well, there is not much information in the site but even though they have less information they are quite detailed and it is clear for the audience. I like how they are trying to raise awareness to the public and making them think about illegal immigration deeply from this website. Lots people don’t know much about illegal immigration and only know that they are illegal so this site might make think more about this topic.

Which country in particular do they want to stop illegally migrating?
Why would you want to raise awareness of companies?
Do you think raising awareness will actually help people understand more about illegal immigrants?
5. How could you become involved with this organization or model your action plan after it?
We could sign in the organization ALIPAC and try to contribute the activities going on in ALIPAC. We could help spread what they are doing by raising awareness of illegal immigration to people around us.

2. What exactly are they doing to try and combat or change your issue?
Their main mission is to secure the US borders and coastal boundaries against the unlawful and unauthorized entry of individuals (illegal immigrants) and foreign military. What they’ve done before was that they actually tried building fences around the border to help motivate the government to actually ‘build them’. Also they are going out to do their ‘border watch operation’.
3. What are some of the things you like about their program?
I like how they say ‘talk is cheap, and virtual is not actual.’ And actually went to build the fences. I’ve always thought about building fences around the border as a resolution to our topic but thought that no one actually do it but here, they were brave enough to do it. They want to continue with building them.
4. What are some questions you have about it?
How do they use all the money donated from the individuals?
How, exactly does the process of ‘fence building’ go?
Do you think the government is doing a good job about this issue?
What are some reasons that they’re so passionate about this issue?
5. How could you become involved with this organization or model your action plan after it?
We can contribute to the online donation system of the MCDC and help the project of the Declaration Alliance. Also we can become part of their member through a registration as a volunteer to participate in border watch operation.

1. What is the specific topic your group decided to focus on?
Our group has decided to focus on the illegal immigration in America and especially immigrants that came from Mexico. We choose America because it’s the country that received the most immigrants from different countries than any other states and a lot of them are came from Mexico. We want to focus on the how illegal immigrants are affecting America and what we can do to help.
2. Which organization did you choose to focus on and why?
We chose to focus on an organization call MCDC, The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. This organization takes a lot of action about the entrance of the illegal immigrants who come to America. Our group liked how they say “talk is cheap and virtual is not actual” because unlike the others, they actually tried to do something about the fences around the border and
3. What exactly are they doing to try and combat or change your issue?
They’re doing a project called ‘Border watch operation’ where they go to the border line to guard the border in America and keep the immigrants from coming, along with the police. They are also trying to build fences along the border of Mexico and America around to stop the illegal immigrants from coming in.
4. What are some of the things you like about their program?
This organization doesn't just say people should stop the illegal immigrants from coming in to America but they really put it into action about what they want to do. So what they are doing is that they are trying to build fences around the border and they have already started building them. Also by doing such action, they are raising public awareness as well as the government's attention. Another project that this organization has been doing is to gather a group of people from their organization and go to the border and stay for few days, watching and securing the border with the police so no immigrants will be able to cross the border illegally.
5. How do you plan to become involved with this organization or model your action plan after it?
We could register in MCDC and become a part (member) of the organization and participate in the Border Watch. Also we could contribute to the online donation activity.
